Finding Home

FINDING HOME is a 2.5D animated feature for the family about the young musk ox Musky, who is trying to find his way home after he and a young group of the herd have been captured and transported from Greenland to the unfamiliar and unwelcoming Norwegian mountain Dovrefjell.

The tender, heartbroken Musky is convinced that his family is waiting for him at home in Greenland, and becomes determined to find his way back to them. Blinded by his strong hope and belief, he sets out on a dramatic, yet magical journey, meeting new friends and overcoming challenges. When everything seems dark and hopeless, he finally understands that home is where the heart is. Together with his new friends, he is able to save the young herd from a giant avalanche, and with his newfound knowledge help them survive and thrive in their new and beautiful mountain home.

This project in development is inspired by true events; the re-introduction of musk-ox in Dovrefjell, and by the headless hunt for arctic animals in the early 1900s.
