• Anita Killi

    CEO /Director & Scriptwriter

    Anita studied illustration and graphic design at the Norwegian National College of Art & Design from 1988 to 1990, followed by studies in animation and documentary filmmaking at the Volda University College. In 1996, Anita graduated from Oslo National Academy of the Arts with the equivalent of a masters-degree, majoring in animation (multiplane technique). Since then, Anita established and runs her own animation studio, Trollfilm AS in Dovre, Norway. Anita is known for directing several award winning short films, among others Sinna Mann / Angry Man (2009) and Tornehekken / The Hedge of Thorns (2001).She finished her new short film Mor visste ingenting / Mother didn’t know in May 2020.

  • Lillian Løvseth

    PRODUCER

    Lillian has a graduation in culture project management and film and television science from Lillehammer University College, with specialization in production of film, television and stage from BI in Oslo. She has worked in several different production companies, worked as a production advicor in the regional film center and has produced short films. Lillian has several projects in development and her focuses are on regional films with an international approach. The first two films she produced in Trollfilm I’m not afraid! (Mayer 2022) and Is heaven blue? (de Nooijer) premieres in Berlin 2022 and Annecy 2023. She is also a producer in the Lillehammer based film company Smallville films.

  • Maria Motovska

    PRODUCER

    Mária is a creative producer, coming from the Czech Republic, where she graduated with a master's degree in production from the National Film School FAMU. She was fascinated by the magic of animation already during her studies when she started to work for the Maurfilm company where they produced together a short animation "Daughter" nominated for an Oscar. Her film "Red Shoes" was premiered at Cannes in the Cinefondation competition. Since then, she has been loyal to animated films and founded her own company, Helium Film, which focuses on original content and foreign co-productions. She was working for two years for public Czech TV. Her journey has taken her to Lillehammer where she would like to settle and bring new ideas in the form of mixing Nordic and Central&East-European vibes.

  • ANJA MANOU HELLEM

    DIRECTOR

    Anja Manou Hellem is a director based in Lillehammer, Norway. Her main focus is content for children. In 2018/19 she directed the Prix Jeunesse nominated documentary series «Life in the kindergarten». Aside from this she has created and directed several tv programs for children. The most recent is The Boys Choir which aired on national tv last spring. She now has several projects in development for the younger audience. The last years she have been working with development of animation projects. With Trollfilm, she is developing an animated feature called Finding Home, based on the musk ox from Dovre.

  • Ole Christoffer Haga

    DIRECTOR, SCREEN WRITER & ANIMATOR

    Ole has spent two decades in the animation industry, working with feature films, tv-series and commercials. He is currently working as a senior lecturer of 3D modelling and animation at the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. Apart from teaching, this position also includes research on the animated film which is conducted as an ongoing PhD project at the Department of Art and Media Studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). In addition to academic obligations Ole is still active as an animator, doing work for TV-series, and not least developing his own short films. Not counting commission work, PAM Inc. will be his third personal animated short as a director.

  • TROND M. K. VENAASEN

    SCREEN WRITER

    Educated from the Norwegian Film School (2004). Series creator and screenwriter on

    international children's series such as: “Hubert”, “Ella Bella Bingo”, “Trio and Helium”. The

    “Trio” film following the series, and Trond also wrote the feature “The Bird Catcher”,

    premiering at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2019. He is teaching at the

    Norwegian Film School, and are involved in various film and television project.

  • VASILII CHIRKOV

    DIRECTOR

    Animation director, screenwriter, animator and teacher. Was born and grew up in Moscow, Russia. Graduated from the Molecular Biology department of Moscow State University. Then decided not to continue his studies in science, but to research the world through art. For the last 15 years has been working in animation. In collaboration with other artists and directors, he established an independent animation school and cultural space in Moscow. Leaded animation laboratories for children and adults in Germany, Italy, Armenia, Georgia, Latvia and Estonia.Worked as a lecturer at the design department of the Higher School of Economics. After 2022 left his home and now travels the world as a free artist. In his work, he focuses on stop-motion animation techniques (especially cut-out animation on multiplane). Interacting with various materials, he is looking for new ways to work with poetic language in animation. Released more than 20 commercial and info projects and 2 author films - "The Other Shores" (2014) and "White-White Day" (2022). At the moment, with Trollfilm he is working on a new short film called Sadhana.

  • Marita Mayer

    DIRECTOR

    Marita grew up in Hamburg, Germany. She has a background in Cultural Management and Education from the University of Hildesheim and specialized in drawn animation at the Animation School Hamburg. Her graduation film Be Nice was screened at several festivals around the world and won the audience awards at two German short film festivals in 2010. Marita has worked for several 2-D and stop-motion productions since and was the program manager for five editions of Fredrikstad Animation Festival (FAF) in Norway. In August 2018, she and her family moved to Dovre to work on Anita Killi’s short film Mother didn’t know.

    I am not afraid! is Marita’s debut as a director.

  • Menno de Nooijer

    DIRECTOR & ANIMATOR

    Menno de Noijer grew up in the Netherlands. Over the years he have expressed himself in various media. The collaboration with his father, Paul, is automatic "attuned" to each other, they feel and complement each other perfectly : www.denooijer.org

    His eksperimental short film Is heaven blue? is now in festival distribution.

  • Marianne Bundgaard Nielsen

    DIRECTOR

    Marianne Bundgaard Nielsens has a master in production design from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Design and studied decoration and line production at The Royal Theater in Copenhagen.

    Marianne worked as a production designer on several award winning Norwegian animated short films, and she has solid experience in the craftsmanship of making story, characters, sets and props for animation films. The film Quiet (2018) was her debut as a director.
