On Own Two Feet
Synopsis
The film uses this symbolic journey to address the anxieties of a pregnant woman worried about bringing a child into an increasingly polluted and environmentally degraded world. Through its visual metaphors, "Circle" contemplates the relationship between humanity and nature, questioning what kind of world we are creating for future generations while simultaneously suggesting that within each new life there remains the potential for renewal and change.

Mission
By employing the intimate perspective of a pregnant woman's concerns, the film strives to personalize large-scale environmental issues, connecting abstract global problems to the deeply personal act of bringing new life into the world. The film endeavors to make tangible the ethical dilemma faced by potential parents: the tension between natural human optimism in creating new life and the realistic apprehension about what future awaits these children.
About the film
The film was created using traditional hand-drawn animation techniques. The animation process began with drawings made on regular copy paper using a conventional animation drawing table. Each sheet was precisely positioned using a pegbar system (or alternatively, a three-thumbtack method with cardboard) to maintain proper alignment between frames. The animator drew sequential images with minor variations to create the illusion of movement, emphasizing the importance of timing in effective animation.
