Mission
Through its artistic approach and careful animation timing, "Circle" attempts to create moments of stillness and contemplation that allow viewers to reflect on what truly matters in the relationship between generations and their environment. The film ultimately seeks to transform environmental despair into a more nuanced emotional landscape where concern coexists with the perpetual renewal of hope that each new generation represents.
About the film
After the initial pencil drawings were completed and tested through control filming, the images were traced onto colored paper using a lightboard. These traced drawings were then colored using colored pencils to achieve the final look. Following the completion of the artwork, the director received all the drawings for the production process.
