Form:
The film has a dramatic epic form. Calm and long scenes in wide images, with the excepiton
of the war depiction which is more hectic.
The film uses many symbols and is perfect for use in public schools to discuss the use of symbols in film.

Technique:
The animation film are made on this multiplan stand:
On the different layers lays the figures, backgrounds and foregrounds which can be moved.
In shots with more movements you need 24 tiny moves for each second to get that nice even float.
Else you just need to shoot 2 and 2 frames so 12 moves in a second is enough.
For the most part this film is based on the cut out technique. That means that the characters are cut out
from paper and hinged together so that can be easily moved. The film also has drawn/object animation.
